Ladli Behna Yojana – Good news for women’s. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has given a big gift to the women of Madhya Pradesh. He has announced that the assistance amount of the state government’s flagship scheme Ladli Behan Yojana will be increased to Rs 1500 per month after Diwali. At present, under this scheme, women get Rs 1250 per month. Along with this, a special budget of Rs 27 thousand 147 crore has also been fixed for women.
You will get additional 250 rupees on Rakshabandhan
CM Mohan Yadav, while addressing the Women Empowerment and Tribal Pride Conference in Sarai on Friday, has announced to increase the amount under the Ladli Behan Yojana. He said that the beneficiaries of Ladli Behan Yojana will be given an additional Rs 250 on Rakshabandhan.
The CM said that women will get Rs 1500 under this scheme after Diwali. This scheme was started on 10 June 2023 by the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Earlier women used to get one thousand rupees, which was later increased to Rs 1250. Special budget fixed for women
The state government has set a total budget of Rs 27 thousand 147 crore for women, out of which Rs 18 thousand 699 crore alone will be for the Ladli Behan Yojana. The Chief Minister claimed that this scheme had helped the BJP win a landslide victory in the November 2023 assembly elections.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that till now a total assistance of Rs 672 crore has been given to 51 lakh daughters under the Ladli Laxmi Yojana. The objective of this scheme is to secure the education and future of girls.
Women will get 33% reservation
Mohan Yadav also claimed that 33 percent reservation will be given to women in the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections. He said that the participation of women will make democracy stronger.
