Ladli Behna Yojana : There is good news for the women of Madhya Pradesh. The government will give them a gift of Rs 250 on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. In fact, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced to give a gift of Rs 250 to the beneficiary women of Ladli Behna Yojana on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.
This amount will be in addition to the monthly installment of Rs 1,250, which is given under the scheme. The Chief Minister made this announcement during a program in Belkheda village of Jabalpur district. This village is located about 40 kilometers from the district headquarters.

Mohan Yadav said that under the Ladli Behna Yojana, women get assistance of Rs 1,250 every month. Now on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, an additional amount of Rs 250 will be given as shagun next month. In the program, the Chief Minister transferred an amount of Rs 1,551.44 crore as the installment for the month of June to the bank accounts of 1.27 crore beneficiary women. According to officials, this is the 25th installment since the scheme was started.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister also announced to open a government college in Belkheda, build an office complex and residential quarters for the employees of the Revenue Department. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several development works in the district. The Chief Minister said that the government is continuously working for women empowerment and rural development.
