Kota Mandi Rates – Wheat, Mustard, Black Gram Flour Price Low, Coriander and Garlic Prices Rise

The total arrival of most commodities at Kota’s Bhamashah Mandi hovered around two lakh bags. As usual, the market witnessed a mixed trend in grains, oilseeds, and spices.

Wheat, Mustard, and Black Gram Flour Remain Low

According to market sources, wheat prices declined by ₹30, mustard by ₹50, and blackgram by approximately ₹100 per quintal. Despite this, arrivals and purchases remained normal.

Coriander Prices Up by ₹200

Coriander prices remained strong this time, rising by approximately ₹200. According to traders, there is a possibility of further improvement in coriander prices due to the upcoming demand.

Garlic Arrivals at 10,000 Bags, Box Packing Expensive

Total arrivals of garlic were approximately 10,000 bags. Its open price ranged from ₹2,000 to ₹9,000 per quintal, while box packing was sold for ₹4,000 to ₹9,500 per quintal. A ₹200 gain in garlic brought relief to traders.

Groundnut oil prices are expensive in the grocery market

Groundnut oil prices rose by ₹20 per tin in the grocery market. Other oil brands also saw movement in the oil market.

Latest prices of grains, pulses, oilseeds, and spices

Wheat prices in the market ranged from ₹2,451 to ₹2,621. Paddy Sugandha was sold for ₹2,000 to ₹2,451, Paddy 1509 variety for ₹2,000 to ₹2,851, 1847 variety for ₹2,300 to ₹2,600, and 1718-1885 variety for ₹2,600 to ₹3,250. Pusa-1 paddy was available at Rs 2400 to 2901, and tainted paddy at Rs 1200 to 2200.

Soybean was available at Rs 3000 to 4601, mustard at Rs 6000 to 6700, linseed at Rs 6300 to 6500, Shankar Jowar at Rs 1700 to 2000, white Jowar at Rs 2800 to 4000 and millet at Rs 2000 to 2300 per quintal.

New maize was sold at Rs 1300 to 1900, barley at Rs 2000 to 2200, sesame at Rs 7000 to 9400, and fenugreek at Rs 4000 to 5100.

Nigella seeds were available at Rs 12000 to 18000, almond coriander at Rs 6500 to 8000 and eagle at Rs 7500 to 8200.

Moong was sold for Rs. 6000 to 7000, old urad for Rs. 4000 to 5800, and new urad for Rs. 4000 to 6400.

Desi gram was bought and sold for Rs. 4800 to 5050, seasonal gram for Rs. 5000, Pepsi gram for Rs. 4800 to 5001, and donkey gram for Rs. 3500 to 4400.

Edible Oil Market

Fortune refined soya was available at Rs. 2250, Chambal at Rs. 2225, Sadabahar at Rs. 2095, local refined at Rs. 1970, and Deep Jyoti at Rs. 2110 per 15 kg tin.

Mustard oil Swastik was available at Rs. 2610, and linseed oil at Rs. 2360 per tin.

Peanut Oil Prices

Truck Quality was sold at Rs. 2800, Kota Swastika at Rs. 2380, Sona Sikka at Rs. 2640, and Kataria Gold at Rs. 2400 per tin.

Vegetable Ghee and Sugar Prices

Vegetable Ghee Scooter and Ashoka were both priced at Rs. 1840 per tin.

Sugar prices remained stable in the range of Rs. 4250 to Rs. 4310 per quintal.

Desi Ghee Prices 

Milk Food was priced at Rs. 9880, Kota Fresh at Rs. 9600, Paras at Rs. 9850, Nova at Rs. 9750, Amul at Rs. 9950, and Madhusudan at Rs. 9950 per tin.

Rice and Pulses Market

Basmati rice was sold at Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,500, moong dal at Rs 8,300 to Rs 8,700, mogar at Rs 9,200 to Rs 9,600, chana dal at Rs 6,800 to Rs 7,100, and tur dal at Rs 8,000 to Rs 11,200 per quintal.
