The people of Bihar have received a big shock from inflation. From today, 22nd May 2025, the general public will have to pay more money for milk. According to the media report, the price of the Full Cream Gold Milk has been increased from ₹ 62 to ₹ 65 per liter.

At the same time, Sudha Shakti Milk has increased from ₹ 55 to ₹ 57 per liter. Talking about cow milk, now it will be available at the rate of ₹ 54 per liter. These new prices have come into effect from 22 May 2025, which will have a direct impact on your household budget.

Sudha milk prices increased

Bihar State Milk Cooperative Federation Ltd. (COMFED), which manages the Sudha brand, has confirmed this increase in milk prices. This increase is said to be necessary to cover the rising cost of milk procurement and processing.

Other companies also increased prices

Before this decision of Sudha, other companies across the country had also increased the price of milk. After Mother Dairy and Amul Dairy, now Parag Milk Foods has also announced to increase in the price of milk. After this, Govardhan Milk also increased the price by ₹2 per litre.

The companies said that the prices have been increased due to the increased cost of milk procurement. According to the companies, this increase in prices will benefit dairy farmers. This is a widespread trend that is being seen across the dairy industry.
