This totals to 244 trips.

Special planning for these routes

The Railways said that in response to the high passenger demand on the busy Mumbai-Goa (Konkan) corridor for the New Year, daily and weekly special trains are being operated between Mumbai CSMT/LTT and Karmali and Madgaon. These trains have been provided with additional sleeper and seating coaches, with stops at major stations.

This route is also very important

In addition, special trains are being run on Mumbai-Nagpur, Pune-Sanganer, and other important routes in Maharashtra, reducing congestion on regular trains. The Railways says special trains are also being run on busy routes connecting Delhi, Howrah, Lucknow, and surrounding cities in North and East India, providing relief to long-distance travelers.

Additional services have been introduced connecting cities in South and Central India, including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mangaluru, and others. The Railways said special trains such as CSMT–Karmali, LTT–Thiruvananthapuram, Pune–Sanganer, and CSMT–Nagpur are being operated with multiple trips to handle the increased passenger flow.
