Railway News: Various efforts are being made to provide facilities to passengers across the country through Indian Railways. Recently, Indian Railways has made a big effort to provide relief to the passengers traveling from Meerut to Lucknow. With this effort, passengers on this route will enjoy a shorter journey time. Let us tell you that now the Vande Bharat Express running from Meerut has started reaching Ayodhya and Varanasi directly. This train left from Meerut City Station at 6:35 am on Wednesday and set out on its first journey to Varanasi. There was a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees due to the start of direct train service on this route.

Response received on the very first day
Let us tell you that the train has received a good response from the passengers on the very first day. A total of 72 people booked tickets from Meerut to Ayodhya and Varanasi. In this, 23 passengers left for Varanasi and 49 for Ayodhya. Devotees expressed happiness and said that now it has become easier than ever to reach Ayodhya Dham and Kashi Vishwanath temple directly from Meerut.
Earlier, this train used to run mostly empty between Meerut and Lucknow, but after increasing the service to Ayodhya and Varanasi, 234 tickets were booked on the first day itself. Railway officials have also expressed satisfaction over this positive response.

Full route and time of the journey
Let us tell you that earlier the train used to travel 459 km between Meerut and Lucknow. On the other hand, after running till Varanasi, it will travel 783 km. Talking about the time, 22490 Vande Bharat will leave from Meerut City at 6:35. After this, it will reach Lucknow at 1:45 pm via Hapur Moradabad. After this, it will reach Varanasi at 6:25 pm via Ayodhya at 3:53 pm.
