Know on which trains the fare will be applicable?
According to the notification of the Railway Board, the work of informing the people will be done by pasting the notice of the fare hike at railway stations through the media. A new list of fare hikes will be displayed at railway stations, which will clear the confusion for passengers. The new fare is going to apply to general, sleeper, first class and AC trains.
The increased fare will need to be paid for travelling in Shatabdi train, Rajdhani Express, Tejas, Duronto, Vande Bharat, Humsafar, Amrit Bharat, Mahamana, Gatiman, Antyodaya, Garib Rath, Jan Shatabdi, Yuva Express, Anubhuti coach and AC Vistadome trains.
