IMD Warning: The southwest monsoon is now rushing, resulting in heavy rainfall and flooding in many states. People’s lives have become miserable due to the rain. According to the IMD, an alert has been issued for heavy rainfall in many states across the country. The weather is likely to remain bad in these areas for the next seven days. Heavy rains are expected to occur in various parts of the country over the next 5 days. IMD has issued an alert of heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh for the next two days.

Apart from this, heavy rains are expected in Meghalaya on June 2. A warning of heavy rains has been issued in Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of moderate rains at many places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

Rains with strong winds are also likely here.

According to the IMD, heavy rains are expected in Chhattisgarh, Bihar, and Odisha until June 4. There is a possibility of thunder, lightning, and rain at speeds of 40-50 km per hour in the Gangetic plains of West Bengal and Jharkhand. There may be rain with lightning and thunder for 3 days in Delhi, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.

Winds are expected to blow at speeds of 40 to 70 kilometres per hour here. Its maximum effect can be seen in these areas on June 2nd and 3rd.
