After successful verification of the documents, you get an acknowledgement with a URN (Update Request Number), through which you can check the status on the UIDAI website. Usually, within 90 days, the new name gets updated on the Aadhaar card.

Process of changing the address in the Aadhaar card after marriage
If a new place of residence has been adopted after marriage, then it is also necessary to update the address. For this, one has to go to the Aadhaar enrollment center and fill in the new address and submit the form. A rent contract, an electricity bill, or a water bill can be submitted as proof of address. Also, the marriage certificate and the Aadhaar card of the spouse are required. After the process is completed, a URN number is received, with the help of which you can check the status of the update. The new address is registered on the Aadhaar card within about 90 days.
