How to link Aadhaar to ration card?
1. Go to the Public Distribution System (PDS) website of your state. You have to login into it.
2. After logging in, select the option to link Aadhaar to ration card. Now you will get the option to enter Aadhaar and ration card number.
3. After filling the required information, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP. By doing this, your linking process will be completed. A confirmation message will also come for this.
Keep in mind that the ration card should be linked to the Aadhaar of all the members of the family whose names are included in the ration card. If this is not the case, then it is possible that you may not get the benefits of the ration being provided on the ration card. The government has also made KYC verification mandatory to avail the benefits of government schemes, which includes Aadhaar authentication, mobile number and fingerprint verification etc.
