Vande Bharat Train: The Vande Bharat train is operated by Indian Railways. This train is considered to be a luxury train, which is a fully AC train. People have to pay a hefty price to sit in Vande Bharat. Now the government is going to launch the Vande Bharat Sleeper Express. This means that long journeys will become easier with the Vande Bharat Sleeper.

On the other hand, if you want to get a ticket for Vande Bharat, then do not worry. Now you can book tickets even 15 minutes before the train departs. You may be surprised to hear this, but it is a special facility for passengers. This facility has been implemented by the Railways on selected Vande Bharat Express routes under the South Railway Zone.

Which trains will get this facility?

Tickets will be booked 15 minutes before departure in the Vande Bharat train, for which you will not have to worry. At present, this facility is applicable only to 8 Vande Bharat Express trains. All these trains run in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh of South India.

Which trains are included

Only eight trains of Vande Bharat are included in these, for which you can book tickets 15 minutes in advance. These include 20631 Mangaluru Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central, 20632 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central, 20627 Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil, 20628 Nagercoil – Chennai Egmore, 20642 Coimbatore – Bengaluru Cantt, 20646 Mangaluru Central – Madgaon, 20671 Madurai – Bengaluru Cantt, 20677 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Vijayawada. In all these trains, passengers can book tickets mid-way.

How to book tickets

First of all, you have to go to the official website of IRCTC www.irctc.co.in,

After this, you have to open the IRCTC Rail Connect mobile app.

Then you have to use the existing IRCTC credentials.

Then, if you are using it for the first time, you will have to create a new account.

After this, choose the boarding and destination station, date of travel and select the Vande Bharat train.

Then the system will show you the vacant seats in real-time.

After this, you will have to choose between the executive class and the chair car.

Along with this, you will have to select your boarding station.

Then you can complete the payment through digital means.

You can receive your e-ticket immediately through SMS and email.
