An e-passport looks similar to a regular passport. The only difference is that there is a small golden chip symbol on the cover, indicating that it is an e-passport. The actual chip is embedded inside the passport. This chip digitally stores the individual’s personal information, such as name, date of birth, passport details, as well as biometric data and fingerprints.
