Changes Introduced with PAN 2.0
Last year, the Government of India updated the format of PAN cards under the PAN 2.0 project. All new PAN cards are now issued in this updated format, and older PAN cards will also be replaced with the new version.

If you haven’t received the updated PAN card yet, don’t worry. The Government of India will send PAN 2.0 to you automatically. There is no need to apply separately, and this update will be provided free of charge.
