Haryana CM Naib Singh Saini has announced the start of the Lado Laxmi Yojana in the state from September 25. Under this scheme, eligible women will get monthly help of ₹2,100.
The Lado Laxmi Yojana was one of the election promises of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Haryana. CM Saini made this announcement after the Haryana Cabinet meeting. He said that the cabinet has decided to start the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana. This scheme will begin from September 25, the birth anniversary of Deendayal Upadhyay.
According to the CM, under this scheme, women will get ₹2,100 every month as financial help. From September 25, all women of age 23 years and above will get this benefit. Both married and unmarried women will be able to take advantage of this scheme.

According to CM Saini, in the first phase of the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana, families with annual income less than ₹1 lakh will be included. He said that later, the scheme will be expanded step by step, so that more income groups can also get the benefit.
The CM said that to take benefit of this scheme, it is important that the woman (if unmarried) or her husband (if married) must be a resident of Haryana for at least 15 years. There is no limit for the number of women in a family. If three women in a family are eligible, then all three will get the benefit.
These women will get extra benefits
CM Saini also said that women suffering from stage 3 and stage 4 cancer, women with 54 listed rare diseases, hemophilia, thalassemia, and sickle cell disease are already getting pension. These women will also get extra benefits from this scheme.
