You will receive Rs 90,000 under the PM SVANidhi Scheme
Small businesses and street vendors suffered the most during the COVID-19 pandemic. To help them, the government launched the Pradhan Mantri SVANidhi Scheme in June 2020. Previously, the scheme offered a maximum loan of Rs 80,000, but now it has been increased to Rs 90,000.
The best part is that this loan is completely unsecured. The scheme is divided into three parts. The first phase will provide Rs 15,000, the second phase will provide Rs 25,000, and the third phase will provide Rs 50,000. Applicants with a good CIVIC score can easily access the loan in the third phase.
Who can benefit?
According to government data, as of July 30, 2025, more than 6.8 million people have benefited from this scheme. If you want to benefit from this scheme, you must fulfil certain conditions. Street vendors must be registered with the Municipal Corporation or any other local authority to benefit from this scheme. You must also have an identity card.
