The government has made many important changes for Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) members in the last few months. These changes have made PF-related services very easy. Recently, EPFO has added another important facility. Now, EPFO services are also available on the DigiLocker app. Android smartphone users can check their PF account balance directly from DigiLocker. EPFO members can now view and download important documents like their UAN card, PPO, and scheme certificate from DigiLocker. At present, this facility is available only for Android users, but it is expected to be released for iOS users soon.

Now Activating UAN is Easier

EPFO shared an update on July 18. It said that now UAN can be activated through face authentication using the UMANG app. Activating UAN is very important because without it you cannot check your EPF balance or withdraw money online.
