Women of Bihar will get ₹ 10,000

This step of the Bihar government is considered very important to make women financially strong. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself has shared the information about this scheme on his X account, and it has also been approved in the cabinet meeting.

It is being speculated that this amount can be sent directly to the bank accounts of women before the elections to be held this year. The government believes that this initiative will prove to be helpful for women to start their own employment and strengthen their economic condition.

Application Process and Eligibility

Under the Chief Minister Mahila Rojgar Yojana, women who want to start their own employment will be able to apply soon. The application process is being finalized by the government, and its responsibility has been entrusted to the Rural Development Department. The Urban Development and Housing Department will also cooperate in this.

However, at present, no specific portal or process has been fixed for this scheme, but information about this will be given soon. The most special thing about this scheme is that no special eligibility condition has been kept for it; that is, every woman can take advantage of it.

Financial assistance up to ₹ 2 lakh

Under this scheme, women will be given an initial amount of ₹ 10,000 to start employment. This amount will help in meeting their financial needs. After six months, their project will be evaluated by the administration, and if needed, financial assistance of up to ₹ 2 lakh can also be given to women.  This amount will help them take their business to a bigger level. This initiative will not only make women self-reliant but will also increase their contribution to the economic development of the state.
