24 Carat Gold
24-carat gold is the purest form, containing approximately 99.5% pure gold. This metal is quite soft, malleable, and easily bendable; therefore, jewellery is typically not crafted from 24-carat gold. It is primarily used in computers, mobile handsets, and medical and electrical equipment.
22 Carat Gold
22-carat gold contains approximately 91.6% pure gold, while the remaining portion consists of silver, copper, or other metals. It is stronger than 24-carat gold.
22-carat gold is used for crafting gold jewelry. Due to its lower purity, its price is slightly lower than that of 24-carat gold. Its color is slightly paler because other metals are mixed into it.
