PM Internship Scheme: There is a great opportunity waiting for everyone. Did you miss out on the Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme? No worries! You can still apply for other available opportunities. If you haven’t had the chance to apply for the PM Internship Scheme, let us introduce you to another program that offers real work experience through internships in a central government ministry.

The Ministry of Women and Child Development is running an ‘Internship Program’ that allows you to intern within this ministry. This initiative is part of the Modi government’s campaign, ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.’ Interns can participate in this program four times a year.

This scheme is a fantastic chance for students and women from smaller towns and villages to gain valuable experience in government work. It’s open to everyone: students, women scholars, social workers, and teachers. Interns will gain insights into policies, challenges, and programs related to women and child development, paving the way for a brighter future for young students.

Key details about the internship scheme:

The Ministry of Women and Child Development conducts internships four times a year. The first session runs from May to June, the second from August to September, the third from November to December, and the final one from February to March. Each session lasts for two months, and each batch accommodates 20 women and students.

How much is the stipend for the internship program?

The government provides a stipend of 20,000 rupees each month during the internship. Upon finishing the program, participants will receive a certificate. Accommodation is available in a hostel on a triple-sharing basis, with each room equipped with a bed (without a mattress), a table, a chair, and a cupboard. The hostel will be accessible two days before the internship starts and two days after it ends. However, you’ll need to cover your own meals while staying there.
