Open wife’s NPS account

You can open the National Pension Scheme account in the name of wife. As per the convenience, you get an option to deposit money every month or annually. You can open NPS account in the name of wife from Rs 1,000. At the age of 60, the NPS account becomes matured. Under the new rules, if you want, keep running the NPS account till the age of the wife is 65 years.

Fund of ₹ 1 crore will be made by investment

Understand from the example- Your wife is 30 years old and you invest 5000 rupees every month in her NPS account. If they get 10 per cent returns annually on investment, then at the age of 60, they will have a total of Rs 1.12 crore in their account. They will get about 45 lakh rupees out of this. Apart from this, they will start getting pension around Rs 45,000 every month. This pension will continue to get life.

How much pension, see calculation

Age- Total period of 30 years investment- 30 years monthly contribution- An estimated return on Rs 5,000- 10 % total pension fund- 1,11,98,471 can withdraw at maturity. 44,79,388 rupees for buying an annuity plan. 67,19,083 estimated annuity rate 8 % monthly pension- Rs 44,793.

Social Security Scheme

NPS is the Social Security Scheme of the Central Government. Professional fund managers manage the money you invest in this scheme. The central government gives these professional fund managers its responsibility. In such a situation, your investment in NPS is completely safe. However, the money you invest under this scheme is not guaranteed to return. According to Financial Planners, NPS has given a average of 10 to 11 per cent returns annually since the beginning.
