The common people will get direct benefits from this, which will prove to be good news. Talking about the price, it can be reduced by up to Rs 50. If the government does this, then it will be a big drop before Diwali. However, no such information has been received officially yet.

When can the prices change?

Indian gas companies can revise and reduce the price of LPG cylinders. It is being speculated that on the morning of September 1, there is a possibility of a reduction of up to Rs 50 in the price of gas cylinders.

Current price of an LPG cylinder

The price of an LPG cylinder is being recorded at Rs 853 in the capital Delhi. In Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, a domestic gas cylinder is currently being sold for Rs 879. In the country’s financial capital, Mumbai, the price of an LPG cylinder is being recorded at Rs 852.50.

In Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, the price of a domestic gas cylinder is being recorded at Rs 868.50. India imports about 60 per cent of its LPG for domestic consumption.

Price is revised every month.

The price of an LPG cylinder is revised on the first day of every month. On August 1, there was no change in the price of da domestic gas cylinder. Now, on September 1, 2025, there is a possibility of a big change in the rate of gas cylinders.

However, no one has said anything from the gas companies yet. If there is a change in the price of f gas cylinder, then the common people will definitely get some relief from inflation.
