Instructions issued to gas companies
According to the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, the IDLs of agencies related to three special gas companies, Indane Gas, Bharat Gas, and Hindustan Gas, are rapidly completing the e-KYC process for their domestic gas customers. For this, the government has set the last date as June 30, 2025.

Arun Agarwal, General Secretary of the Ludhiana LG Dealer Federation Association of Punjab, clarified the situation and stated that, following the Central Government’s instructions, if the e-KYC work is not completed by June 30, the supply of gas cylinders will be halted entirely.
