With the intention of stopping cases of fraud, the government has made it mandatory to get e-KYC done for all ration cards. However, you do not need to worry much about this. Actually, you can also do e-KYC of ration card on your phone sitting at home. Let’s know how to do this.
How to do online e-KYC of ration card
You can do e-KYC for ration card from your phone. For this, you will have to install ‘Mera eKYC’ app and ‘Aadhaar FaceRD’ app in your mobile.
After opening this app, enter your location and other required information.
After this enter your Aadhar number, captcha code and OTP received on mobile.
After this, information related to your Aadhaar will be visible on this app.
Now you have to select ‘Face e-KYC’ option.
After this the camera will turn on.
Now click your photo and click on ‘Submit’ button.
In this way your e-KYC will be completed.
KYC of every member is mandatory
Keep in mind that this process has to be completed by every member included in the ration card. That is, all the members will have separate eKYC. If a member does not have e-KYC, then his name will be removed from the card. This is being done so that only genuine and needy people get free ration and other government facilities.
