This annual pass of FASTag has been launched since yesterday, August 15. This FASTag annual pass has been launched on the instructions of the Union Road Transport Minister of the country, Nitin Gadkari. The purchase of this annual pass has started from yesterday. Car owners can buy this pass once and keep it so that they do not have to pay their toll money separately throughout the year. As a result, traveling on the highway will become much easier than before, and people will also save money. If you buy this annual pass for Rs 3,000, you will be able to travel through 200 toll plazas for free throughout the year. Those who travel frequently by car will get a lot of relief from this rule.
What are the benefits of the FASTag annual pass?
This FASTag annual pass will be applicable only for non-commercial private vehicles such as cars, jeeps and vans.

Cost – Rs 3,000 will be paid for this FASTag annual pass for crossing 200 toll plazas.
Validity – The annual pass will be valid for 1 year from the date of activation or till 200 toll plaza crossings are completed, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility – This FASTag annual pass will be applicable only for personal light vehicles.
How to activate
To activate this annual pass, one has to visit the Rajmarg Yatra app or the NHAI, MoRTH website. According to Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, this initiative will reduce the waiting time at toll plazas and will be very convenient for regular commuters.

How much will it save you?
This FASTag annual pass will save you a lot of money when traveling on the highway. The average toll tax for a car is 50 to 120 Rs.. If the toll tax is 100 taka on average, then it will cost you 2000 Rs. for 200 trips. And it will cost you only 3000 Rs. to buy this pass. That is, this annual pass will save you 17 thousand taka per year. The annual pass of FASTag will reduce the cost by 85 percent. On the other hand, if the average toll tax is 80 taka and there are 100 trips in a year, then you will save 5000 Rs.
Who can apply
Only those people who have their valid vehicle registration number linked to their FASTag can get this FASTag annual pass. Those whose FASTag is linked only with the chassis number will not be able to take advantage of this annual pass.
