The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has released a new advisory for FASTag users, indicating that misuse of FASTags could lead to blacklisting. Drivers in these situations may experience inconveniences at toll plazas and could also incur fines. The newly implemented barrier-free tolling system will facilitate quicker identification and action against incorrect FASTags.
What is the proper way to use FASTag?
FASTag is an RFID-based system designed to automatically pay tolls. Under the new regulations, it is essential to attach the FASTag to the vehicle’s windscreen. However, NHAI has observed that many individuals display it at toll plazas while holding it in their hands, which is against the law. This practice can disrupt the toll payment process and lead to traffic congestion. Remember, such negligence may result in the FASTag being blacklisted.

अगर जरूरी काम नहीं करवाए तो फिर किस्त की राशि से वंचित रह जाएंगे. इसलिए किस्त जारी होने से पहले कुछ जरूरी कार्यों को पूरा कर लें, जिससे किसी तरह की परेशानी नहीं होगी. अगली किस्त कब आएगी, अभी तारीख का ऐलान आधिकारिक रूप से नहीं किया गया है.
