New Delhi: Farmers enrolled in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their instalments. All farmers are hopeful that the Modi government at the centre will release the next instalment, the 21st instalment, in the second week of October. It is speculated that the government may release the next instalment by October 13, 2025.
The government will provide benefits to approximately 100 million farmers in this instalment. Only those farmers who have completed all the necessary formalities will be eligible for the instalment large number of farmers have not completed e-KYC procedures, so farmers should ensure this is completed.
These farmers will benefit
Farmers registered under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will receive the 21st instalment wishing to avail the instalment must first complete e-KYC and land verification procedures. Additionally, they can link their Aadhaar number to their bank account. The central government withheld the instalment payments of farmers who failed to complete this work, even in the 20th instalment of the scheme.
This was a major setback for farmers. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, ₹6,000 is transferred annually in three instalments of ₹2,000 each, spaced four months apart. The 20th instalment was released on August 2, 2025. Since then, everyone has been waiting for the next instalment to check the instalments

Then, click on the “Know Your Status” option under “Farmer Corner.”

Farmers are demanding an increase in the amount.
For your information, there have been ongoing demands to increase the amount received under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The government has not yet approved this. Farmers are demanding that the instalment amount be increased from Rs 2,000 to Rs 4,000. Once this happens, farmers will begin receiving Rs 12,000 annually. However, the government has not yet commented on this.
