Farmers can apply in the scheme by just going to the MPFSTS portal of the Agriculture Department and registering themselves. After applying, selection will be done through a lottery system. The Horticulture Department can soon give portable sprinklers, mini sprinklers, and drip. For this, farmers can get a subsidy ranging from 45 to 55 percent.
How to get a subsidy
The government gives subsidies according to farming. For example, farmers with 5 acres of agricultural land are given a 45 percent subsidy. Farmers with 5 acres of agricultural land are given 55 percent subsidy. Talking about drip, a subsidy of Rs 70,000 per hectare is given. A subsidy of Rs 15,000 is given on sprinklers. On the other hand, a subsidy of Rs 80,000 to Rs 1 lakh or as per estimate is given for mini sprinklers.

Farmers will be able to save so much
Let us tell you that farmers can save up to 70 percent of water by using drip. There is a saving of up to 40 percent on fertilizers. Production will increase by 20 to 30 percent. Farmers should use drip as much as possible. A lottery will be drawn every month to benefit the farmers.
