For this, you do not need to go to any office. You can do this work easily through the government’s UMANG app.
How to correct PAN card information with the UMANG app?
UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is a digital platform of the Government of India, in which many government services are available in one place. Through this app, it is also possible to avail services related to PAN card, like making a new PAN or correcting the information.

Step-by-step process to correct the PAN card
First of all, open the UMANG app on your mobile. If you do not have the app, download it from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
After installing the app, log in with your mobile number.
Click on the “Services” tab shown below on the homepage of the app.
Now go to the “All Services” option.
Select “My PAN” from the list of services.
After this, a new page will open, in which all the services related to the PAN card will be visible.
On scrolling down here, you will get the option of “Apply for Correction/change in PAN Card (CSF)”.
There will be two options in it: eSign and Physical.
Choose one as per your convenience.
After this, click on “Proceed”.
Now fill in the PAN number and other necessary personal information.
Upload the required documents.
A small fee has to be paid for the correction, which can be deposited online.
After the application and verification are completed, the new PAN card will be sent to your address.
