A PF account creates a strong savings for your retirement, from which interest is also received every month. Date of Exit not updated

Aadhaar-UAN Link

If your old company has not updated your date of leaving the job (Date of Exit) correctly, then the PF money will not be transferred automatically.

Having two UAN numbers

Many times, people have more than one UAN number. Because of this, there is a problem with the PF transfer.

KYC details not updated

If your Aadhaar, PAN, or bank account details are not updated correctly, the PF transfer may get stuck.

Funds not deposited

Some companies do not deposit the PF amount on time, due to which the transfer is not possible.

Process of PF transfer

Now the process of PF transfer has become completely online, making it very easy:

Log in to the EPFO ​​​​website or https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.

Go to ‘Online Services’ and choose the option of ‘One Member One EPF Account (Transfer Request)’.

Now fill in the details of the old company and complete Form 13.

You can get verification done from either the new or the old company. After submission, the transfer is done within 10 to 20 working days.

Register a complaint by visiting https://epfigms.gov.in. Here, register an online complaint by filling in your UAN, PF account number, and other information.
