e-Aadhaar app will be launched in India soon, Updating process will be more easy

E-Aadhaar App- Big news for Aadhaar Card holders. Aadhar card is one of the important documents in the country. It is used as an identity card. Along with this, it is needed everywhere. Government schemes cannot be done without Aadhar card. Meanwhile, a big news has come out for Aadhar users. Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is developing a mobile application. Through this app, users will be able to update their personal information. It includes many things like name, address, date of birth.

According to a report published in Financial Express, this app will also include modern technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Face ID, which will make the use of digital services related to Aadhaar simpler, safer and faster than ever. According to government officials, the e-Aadhaar app can be launched by the end of 2025. Its purpose is to reduce the need for card holders to visit the enrollment center repeatedly and to make the update process completely digital, easy and secure.

Know what is e-Aadhaar?

E-Aadhaar is a digital or online version of the Aadhaar card, which can be downloaded from the UIDAI website in PDF format and saved in the phone. Due to the password, no one can access e-Aadhaar and there will be no risk of its misuse. E-Aadhaar can be downloaded from the myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in website or the mAadhaar app.

These facilities will be available in e-Aadhaar app

Through this app, Aadhaar card holders will be able to update all the information like their address, date of birth and phone number just from their smartphone. UIDAI said that from November, Aadhaar users will have to go to the enrollment center only for biometric authentication i.e. fingerprint or iris scanning.

UIDAI is also adding a feature in the e-Aadhaar app that users’ data can be automatically fetched from government sources such as birth certificate, PAN card, passport, driving license, ration card (PDS), MNREGA records and electricity bill. This will make the work of address verification and other updates faster and convenient.
