Facility to update mobile number started
Please tell that now the vehicle owners can update their mobile numbers online. For this, the Madhya Pradesh Transport Department has provided facilities on the “Vehicle Sarathi Portal”. The vehicle owner or dealer can update the mobile number by visiting the portal of NIC. A special campaign has also been started for this work so that this facility and information can be made available to all vehicle owners.

To update the mobile number in the vehicle, first go to the charioteer portal transport.mp.gov.in. After this, log in through the Aadhaar certification (EKYC). Now the name of the name recorded in the Aadhaar card and the name of the parents, vehicle registration, and license data should be fully matched. The mobile number will be updated immediately on matching. On the other hand, if there is a difference in the name recorded in Aadhaar and the name recorded in vehicle documents, then you will have to upload identity cards like Aadhaar, Voter ID, or Passport. After doing this, the documents will be verified by the RTO, and then the number will be updated.
