Ration Card: Big news for ration card holders. An important update has come for ration card holders who want to avail free ration. Ration card holders have to complete their e-KYC by tomorrow. You have only one day’s time, if you do not complete e-KYC by 30 April, then you will not get free ration. Earlier the last date was 30 March.
Let us tell you that the government has extended its deadline six times so far. But this time the government has said that e-KYC has to be completed by 30 April at any cost. Otherwise your name will be deleted. The names of people who do not get e-KYC done will be deleted considering them fake units. Therefore, get e-KYC done for your entire family as soon as possible.
How to do e-KYC from home There is an app called Mera e-KYC on the Play Store.
Download it and also download Aadhar Face RD. Open the app and enter your location, then enter your Aadhar number and captcha and then enter the OTP. You will see all your details on the screen and then select the Face e-KYC option. After this, turn on the camera and click the photo and submit it.
This way your e-KYC will be done while sitting at home.
Go to the website of your state’s public distribution system. Click on e-KYC for Ration Card there, then enter the ration card number and Aadhar number. Enter the Aadhar number of the head of the family and then an OTP will come on the mobile number, enter all the information and submit it.
KYC is being asked to be done so that those with fake ration cards can be removed from the system. The government just wants that only deserving people should get the benefit of government food grains.
