Who will receive the Saheli Smart Card

According to information received from the Delhi government, this card will be launched on the auspicious occasion of Bhai Dooj after Diwali. This card will benefit not only women but also transgender women. This card will serve as a permanent travel pass. This means that female passengers will now be able to travel on DTC and cluster buses using this card alone, without the hassle of paper tickets.

Eligibility Criteria

The Saheli Pink Card will only be issued to women who possess proof of residence in Delhi, i.e., a government document proving their residence in Delhi. Women and transgender individuals above 12 years of age will be eligible to receive this card. Only women who meet these eligibility criteria will be eligible for this scheme.

Online Application Process for the Saheli Pink Card

The process of obtaining the Saheli Pink Card has been made completely online so that beneficiaries do not face any hassles.

1. Fill the Application Form on the DTC Website

First, you must visit the official website of the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and fill out the online application form. When filling out the form, you must select your nearest bank branch where the KYC process will be completed.

2. KYC Process and Card Issuance

After the KYC (Know Your Customer) process is completed at the selected bank branch, the card will be issued by the bank and sent to your registered address.

3. Card Activation

Before using the card, it will need to be activated through DTC’s automatic fare collection system.

Required Documents

Documents required for the Saheli Pink Card include an Aadhaar card, PAN card, proof of residence in Delhi, and a passport-sized photo. The card will only be issued if all information is correct and verified.
