Some good news has come out to take advantage of the PM Housing Scheme. The government has extended the application deadline to take advantage of this scheme. Earlier, May 15 has been fixed for applying, but now it has been decided to extend it much further.
You can easily apply till December 30, 2025, where there will be no problem. Those who do not have a pucca house and come in the eligibility list can apply for the scheme. Some necessary eligibility criteria have also been prescribed for the scheme, under which this benefit has to be taken. The process of applying is also relatively easy.
How to apply
Suppose you fall below the poverty line category. In that case, you can easily apply if you do not have a pucca house. To apply for the village under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, you must visit the PMAY-G website. You will have to provide personal details. You will have to upload the consent form. Then you will need to click ‘Search’.
Then you have to choose the name and click on Select Register. After this, bank details will also have to be filled in. The government official will do verification. Some documents will be required for the application. These include Aadhar card, MNREGA job card and affidavit of not having a pucca house.
