The announcement was made following a high-level meeting chaired by Shinde and the newly appointed Transport Minister, Pratap Sarnaik. Senior officials of the State Transport Department, MSRTC and representatives of ST employee unions attended the meeting.

Dearness allowance increased, employees happy.

Currently, employees are getting a 46% dearness allowance.
