How much is the price of an LPG cylinder now?
In the country’s capital Delhi, the price of a normal gas cylinder is being recorded at Rs 853. Apart from this, the price of domestic cylinder in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, is being recorded at Rs 879. In the financial capital Mumbai, the price of LPG cylinder is being recorded at Rs 852. Talking about Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, the current price is being recorded up to Rs 858.
Now it is expected that the prices of domestic gas cylinders may fall by 30 to 40 rupees. If this happens, this cylinder will be available to buy in Delhi for up to Rs 813. However, whether the prices will come down or not, it will be known on June 1. Petroleum companies revise the rates of gas cylinders on the first of every month.
Price of commercial cylinder
For information, let us tell you that on May 1, 2025, the prices of commercial gas cylinders were changed, which gave good news to the customers. The commercial gas cylinder in Kolkata became Rs 1851.50. The price of the commercial cylinder in the financial capital, Mumbai, became Rs 1699, and in Chennai, it became Rs 1906.50.
These days, if you buy a gas cylinder under the PM Ujjwala Yojana, then a bumper subsidy is being given. Customers can make purchases by taking advantage of the subsidy. People are demanding an an increase in subsidy, but ,the hope for this is almost negligible.
