The Delhi-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor will pass through 335 villages in seven districts of Rajasthan, including Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur and Dungarpur. There is a plan to build eleven stations on this route, out of which seven will be in Rajasthan. Plans are being made to build stations in Udaipur, Dungarpur (Kherwada), Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur and Alwar (Baharod).

The maximum speed of the bullet train will be 350 km/h, but the train will run at a speed of 320 km/h. The 508 km distance from Mumbai to Ahmedabad will be covered in 2 hours 7 minutes (with limited stops) or 2 hours 58 minutes (with all stops).
