On his social media account ‘X’, he wrote, “Since the formation of the government in November 2005, continuous work is being done to improve the education system.” He said that at that time, the total budget of education was ₹ 4,366 crores, which has now increased to ₹ 77,690 crores. During this period, teachers have been appointed on a large scale, new school buildings have been built, and the infrastructure has been strengthened.
Whose honorarium increased by how much
According to the information given by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the increase in honorarium is as follows.
Cook
The honorarium of the cook working in the mid-day meal has been increased from ₹ 1650 to ₹ 3300.
Night Watchman
The honorarium of night watchmen working in secondary and higher education schools has been doubled from ₹ 5000 to ₹ 10,000.
Physical Education Instructor
The honorarium of physical education and health instructors has been increased from ₹ 8000 to ₹ 16,000.
Annual increment also improved
Along with the increase in the honorarium of these employees, their annual increment has also been improved. Earlier, the annual honorarium used to increase by only ₹ 200; now it has been increased to ₹ 400.
