Indian Railways is bringing a great gift for the people of Bihar. On this Chhath festival, the country’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper train is going to start from Bihar. This train will run from Patna to Delhi, so that passengers can complete their journey in less time and in a comfortable manner. Another big achievement has been added to the name of Bihar, as it has become the only state in the country where all three types of modern trains, Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat, and Namo Bharat, are running.
The journey will be halved, and more time will be saved.
Railways have completed preparations to run the Vande Bharat Sleeper Express from Patna. This train will save a lot of time for the passengers, as it will complete the journey from Patna to Delhi in half the time. Currently, it takes about 23 hours to cover this distance by train, but after the start of Vande Bharat, this journey of 1000 km will be completed in just 11.30 hours. Its maximum speed will be 180 km per hour, and it will reach Delhi via Prayagraj.
Tentative schedule and fare
This train will depart from Patna at 8 pm and reach New Delhi at 7:30 am the next day. On the return, it will leave Delhi at 5 pm and reach Patna at 6:30 am the next day, completing your journey in 11 and a half hours.
Talking about the fare, the fare may be 10-15 percent higher than the Rajdhani. It is expected that its fare will be between ₹ 2000 and ₹ 3000, which will be cheaper than an airplane but will give the experience of facilities like an airplane.
Why is it different from the existing Vande Bharat
This new train will be completely different from the existing Vande Bharat, as it will have sleeper coaches. It will have a total of 24 coaches, which will have AC first class, two-tier, and three-tier sleeper berths. The night journey in it will be as comfortable as an airplane, with facilities like soft lights, automatic doors, bio-toilets, CCTV, LED screens, and modern interiors. Features like an armor system, crash-proof design, and anti-climber have also been added for safety.
The first AC coach will get additional facilities. Just like there is a difference between chair car and executive class, First AC will have more facilities than other coaches. Passengers can also be given flight-like facilities and a hot water shower facility. Apart from this, the number of attendants in this coach will also be more than in other categories, who will be available to help the passengers immediately.
