Banks will be closed in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim, Manipur, Jammu, and Srinagar on account of Diwali Amavasya, Lakshmi Puja, and Govardhan Puja.

October 22: Banks will be closed in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh for Diwali, New Year, and Balipadyami.

October 23: Several states, including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal, will observe a holiday for Bhai Dooj and Chitragupta Puja.

October 27: Banks in West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand will be closed for Chhath Puja.

October 28: Banks in Bihar and Jharkhand will be closed for Chhath Puja (morning offering).

October 31: Gujarat will observe a holiday in honour of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti.
