Bank Holiday in June: The month of June has started with a weekly holiday on Sunday. On the very first day of the month, significant changes have been made to the rules. If you have any work pending in the bank in June, please complete it on time, as this month is full of holidays. Apart from the weekly holiday, banks will remain closed on many additional days.
According to the RBI calendar, there will be five separate bank holidays, in addition to the weekly holiday. Therefore, if you are going to do some work at the bank, gather information about the holiday. Apart from the weekly holiday, banks will remain closed for 5 days in June. Among these, there will be a holiday in banks on June 6 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid). Banks will remain closed in Kerala. The next day, banks will also remain closed across India on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid). On its fourth day,i.e., June 11, banks will remain closed in Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti/Saga Dawa, Himachal Pradesh, and Sikkim.
On June 27, there will be a bank holiday in Odisha and Manipur for Rath Yatra/Kathina (Rathjatra). On the other hand, there will be a bank holiday in Remna Ni, Mizoram, on June 30. There are 5 Sundays in June, due to which banks will remain closed.
Weekly holidays are also available on two Saturdays.
For your information, please note that there is a weekly holiday on the Saturday of the month, during which banks are closed. Yes, ATM and utilities will undoubtedly continue to be available to you. You can withdraw cash at the nearest ATM, so there should be no problem. You can transact money through UPI, i.e., Google Pay, PhonePe, and Paytm.
