Bajaj Allianz Policyholders: The ban on cashless claim service imposed on Bajaj Allianz General Insurance from 1 September 2025 has now been lifted. The Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI) has given a big relief to the policyholders of the company by taking this decision.

Consensus reached after the meeting

Let us tell you that on 28 August 2025, a meeting was held between the Chief Officer of AHPI and the senior representatives of Bajaj Allianz. In this meeting, a consensus was reached after discussing all the important issues. Bajaj Allianz has promised that it will submit the necessary formal report to AHPI by 29 September 2025.

AHPI statement

At the same time, AHPI Director General Dr. Girdhar Gyani said, “We want insurance companies and hospitals to work together to reduce the problems of patients. The old rates of treatment should be updated, the way to resolve complaints should be easy, and doctors can do their work without any hindrance.”

The cashless facility will start again

At the same time, Bajaj Allianz has now resumed the cashless claim service in its network hospitals. This means that now policyholders will not have to deposit money first for treatment – the bill will be paid directly by the insurance company.

Status of Care Health Insurance

According to AHPI, the services of Care Health Insurance were already running and were never stopped. AHPI had just asked for some clarification, which Care Health has given. At present, the matter is under review.

Know what the dispute was?

On 22 August 2025, AHPI had advised its member hospitals in North India to stop the cashless facility for Bajaj Allianz and Care Health Insurance patients from September 1. The reason for this is old payment hanging, claim rejection, long and complicated process etc. In response to this, the Insurance Council had described the advice of AHPI as vague and without a legal process.

Confidence of Bajaj and Care

Both Bajaj Allianz and Care Health Insurance companies have clarified that they will give their customers a cashless service. The company is taking full care of the facility. Even if there is a problem in any claim, the company will transfer the money directly and timely manner to the patient’s account.
