Under this initiative, the Government of India sends subsidy money to the bank accounts linked to the Aadhaar of eligible consumers. The amount of subsidy varies depending on global fuel prices and government limits. In such a situation, the subsidy amount can sometimes be Rs 79, sometimes more than Rs 300, and sometimes no subsidy is received. Subsidy is given only to those people whose annual income is less than Rs 10 lakh.

How to link your LPG connection to Aadhaar while sitting at home?

Online Method

1 – First of all visit the official website https://rasf.uidai.gov.in/seeding/User/ResidentSelfSeedingpds.aspx.

2 – Select LPG in ‘Benefit Type’ and select your gas connection company like Indane (IOCL), Bharat Gas (BPCL) or HP Gas (HPCL).

3 – Now enter the distributor name and your consumer number.

4 – After this, enter the mobile number, email ID and Aadhar number and click on ‘Submit’.

5 – OTP will come on your mobile, after entering which the process will be completed.

6 – Once the verification is complete, you will receive a confirmation message on your email and mobile number.

Offline

If you face any problem in the online process, you can also get this work done by visiting the office of your nearest LPG distributor. There you will have to provide a copy of your Aadhaar card and LPG connection details. In this way, you can easily link your LPG connection to Aadhaar and avail the benefits of government subsidy.
