This is how you can verify Aadhaar number
- First of all go to the official website of Unique Identification Authority of India, uidai.gov.in.
- As soon as the homepage opens, the language category will appear. Select your language from here.
- Now go to the ‘Aadhaar Services’ section of the ‘My Aadhaar’ segment.
- Click on ‘Verify Aadhaar Number’ here.
- As soon as the new page opens, enter the Aadhaar number and security code and click on ‘Verify’.
- If the number given by you is correct and active then the details will be shown.
- Through this, you will know whether the Aadhaar number given to you is Aadhaar or not.
Verification can also be done through app
You can also verify Aadhaar number through mobile app. For this you will have to download mAadhaar app on your mobile. Here you will get two options for Aadhaar verification. First option is of ‘Aadhaar Verify’. In this you will be able to do verification through Aadhaar number. Second option is of QR code scanner. In this you will be able to find out whether the Aadhaar number is correct or not by scanning the QR code given on the Aadhaar card. You can also get correct information of Aadhaar by scanning the QR code through Aadhaar QR scanner app.

How to check Aadhaar history?
- First of all go to the website resident.uidai.gov.in.
- Now here you have to click on My Aadhaar option on the top right corner.
- After this click on Aadhaar Authentication History option.
- Here you will be asked for Aadhar card number and you will have to fill the captcha code.
- Now click on OTP verification option.
- Now after this process a tab will open.
- Now fill in the date till which you want to see the Aadhaar history.
- Now you will have to enter the record number and mobile number for OTP. After this, you will have to verify the OTP.
