Pension Will Increase in 8th Pay Commission: According to a report by Financial Express, the central government has expedited the process of finalizing the Terms of Reference (TOR) of the Eighth Pay Commission. Official sources say that the TOR (Terms of Reference) will be notified in the next two to three weeks and along with it the names of the chairman and members of the panel will also be announced.

Payment of dues to employees

However, revisions in salary and pension will be made retrospectively from January 1, 2026 and the employees will be paid the arrears.
