Suggestion Process Begins with Website Launch
Along with the website launch, the commission has also initiated the process of seeking suggestions. A questionnaire containing 18 questions has been released through the MyGov portal. It seeks opinions and suggestions from employees and related organizations to help the commission understand the ground reality. The questionnaire is available in both Hindi and English to ensure maximum participation.
Who Can Submit Suggestions?
The commission has kept the scope for suggestions quite broad. It includes ministries, departments, states, and union territories, government employees, judicial officers, members of regulatory bodies, employee unions, pensioners, researchers, and ordinary citizens.
This will provide the commission with feedback from various levels and assist in preparing the report.
Last Date for Submitting Suggestions and Important Rules
According to the commission, the last date for submitting suggestions is March 16, 2026. The commission has clarified that only responses submitted through the MyGov portal will be considered valid. Suggestions sent via email, paper, or PDF will not be accepted.

The questionnaire covers several important topics, such as salary policy based on inflation and economic conditions, determination of the fitment factor, the method of fixing salaries for senior officers, and the structure of the increment system.
