Petrol-Diesel Price: Petrol and diesel prices have remained stable for quite some time. A few days ago, when global crude oil prices fell, Indian consumers had hoped for some relief. However, the situation returned to normal, shocking consumers. Now, there’s no hope for any decline in petrol and diesel prices in India either. Petrol has been selling for over a century in cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.
Surging diesel prices are also having a significant impact on consumers’ budgets. Even on Friday morning, there was no change in petrol and diesel prices, meaning prices remain stable. If customers want to fill their tank, they should first check the price of a litre of petrol or diesel. This will eliminate any confusion.

How long have prices not changed?
While crude oil prices have fluctuated in the international market, petrol and diesel prices in India have remained unchanged. Indian petroleum companies have not made any major changes to petrol and diesel prices since March 2024. This means that petrol and diesel prices have remained stable for over a year and a half. City-wise petrol and diesel prices can be found on the official websites of oil companies.
