New Vande Bharat Sleeper Train

The introduction of the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train is expected to provide passengers with a modern travel experience, particularly those who prefer overnight journeys between the two major metropolitan cities. With a focus on passenger comfort, upgraded interiors and contemporary amenities, the service will add another important option to India’s growing railway network.

According to the announced schedule, Train No. 27651, operating from CSMT Mumbai to SMVT Bengaluru, will commence service with effect from the Journey Commencing On (JCO) date of 2 November 2026. In the opposite direction, Train No. 27652, running from SMVT Bengaluru to CSMT Mumbai, will begin operations from 3 November 2026.

The new service is expected to benefit business travellers, IT professionals, tourists and regular passengers travelling between Maharashtra and Karnataka.
