If you are looking for a stylish, sporty and attractive car then Volkswagen has brought a great update for you! The company has introduced a new Flash Red color option for its popular models Taigun and Virtus which is exclusive to GT Plus Sport and GT Line trims.
This new metallic red color is brighter and more striking than the existing Wild Cherry Red, which is combined with a black roof and B-pillar. So let’s know in detail what features this new color option brings.

What’s special?
The new Flash Red colour that Volkswagen has introduced for the Taigun and Virtus is a metallic shade that is brighter and more attractive than the existing Wild Cherry Red. It is also designed with a contrasting black roof and B-pillar, which further enhances its sporty look. However, apart from this new colour, there have been no changes in the features or performance of the car.
Engine
Talking about its engine, the GT Plus Sport variants of Taigun and Virtus have a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, which produces 148 bhp power and 250 Nm torque. At the same time, the GT Line trim gets a 1.0-liter TSI engine, which gives 113 bhp and 178 Nm torque.
A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard with both the engines, but you can also opt for an automatic transmission. These engines are known for their punchy performance, offering a great driving experience both in the city and on the highway.
Volkswagen Taigun Facelift
This month, the facelifted Volkswagen Taigun was also spotted testing on Indian roads. Although the car was covered in heavy camouflage, some design updates are still visible
The front grille and bumper could get minor changes, giving the car a more aggressive look.
The headlamps could be updated, incorporating new LED components.
The rear tail lamps could also get revised, coming with connected LED strips like the international Volkswagen models.

Volkswagen Taigun Facelift interior
There are no spy shots of the interior yet, but Volkswagen is expected to update the dashboard design, new materials and connected car features. Also, new alloy wheels can be seen.
