Features
The biggest change is seen in the features list of Trident 660. Triumph has included things this time that make the bike more value-for-money in this segment.
Now bi-directional quickshifter has been given in the bike, allowing both upshift and downshift to rest without using clutch. This meant that faster acceleration and spirited riding have become even more fun now.
Along with this the cruise control system has also been added, which proves to be a big plus point on long highway rides. Fatigue is reduced and rides feel more relaxed.
Riding Modes and Connectivity
Updated Trident 660 now gets a total of three riding modes – Sport, Road and Rain. The new Sport mode is for riders who need excitation at every twist of the throttle. At the same time, Road and Rain mode provide better control in everyday riding and inclement weather.
Talking about technology, Triumph has not skimp here either. The bike now has a Bluetooth connection standard, allowing turn-by-turn navigation, music control and even GoPro controls to be operated directly from the TFT display. That is, the smartphone remained in the pocket and the focus remained on the road.

Engine
As far as performance is concerned, Triumph has not made any changes here and it was not needed. Updated Trident 660 gives the same 660cc online-three engine, which is known for its smoothness and linear power delivery.
